INDIVIDUAL TREATMENT AND TEACHING IN CRANIO SACRAL THERAPY

First to do was to make arrangements for the teaching program. I would also like to have a contact person in each place that will be responsible for the CST-treatments and the teaching in the future. We would like the contact person to make groups for training when we leave.
The home nurses in Tibet Charity were the base for our work. They already have a good base with more education and they are a good team that can support each other. It is our hope that they can learn CST, in such a way that they can support the other groups we teach.
NyingTopLing : The contact person is fysiotherapist Tenzin Yankie. It was not possible for her to join the class in Tibet Charity or TCV, because she is responsible for a small child.
I gave treatments in her clinic and she participated in the treatments while learning. She was a good student. It will be beneficial for the handicapped students at NyingTopling, if she can continue the CST-treatments.
The goal was to continue the Cranio Sacral Therapy (CST) Karin had started for the home-nurses in the spring time.

Another goal was to give CST to the children in TCV and to the handicapped students in NyingTopling in Norbulinka and to make a teaching program these places.

TCV ( Tibetan Children Village) Karin and I whent to TCV to ask if we could make a teaching program at TCV. The Director sent us  to the doctor at the TCV-hospital, and the doctor gave us the permission to work and teach. Here we also have a contact person: The nurse Sonam Palkyi. She contactet the children who needed treatment, and she and some from the staff in the baby-room at TCV. joined the treatments in CST.
One day Karin and I worked at the TCV-hospital with clients from there, and two other days  I also worked in the babyroom.
Karin gave treatments with acupuncture and CST in the Tibet Charity clinic. Most elder Tibetans suffer from pain in the knees and back because of arthritis.
We have started the Cranio Sacral education program, for nurses and massage therapists. All of them are good students and they will continue to train and practise CST in their groups until we come back next year.
In the babyroom I treated 5 children each day in three days, and the nurse participated and
sometimes one of the homemothers.
In the end. The homenurses at Tibet charity also wanted to do art thearpy.

Bodil made an exercise with them that they could use for there own development.

As you can see they were very dedicated to the exercise

We thank for all the support and good will .
